Is that area of Wilmington considered downtown?

  • Guestreply says:

10th and Queen??? Hmmm??? I’m terribly SHOCKED! I’m sitting here in disbelief! Speechless… NOT!

  • Guest Reply says:

In this country of ours…we have cities with suburbs with historic names such as… Chinatown/Little Italy/Little Brooklyn/etc.
Here in Wilmington, with our new crime statistics unfolding each year, is now known as….”Newark South” (sister city)

  • Vog46 says:

The city of Newark is justifiably upset by Wilmington calling itself Newark South.
That was the ultimate insult to Newark NJ.
A multi-million dollar slander lawsuit is in the works I’m sure.
