Two brothers sentenced in North Carolina terror case

Raleigh, NC (WWAY)-- Hysen Sherifi of Raleigh was sentenced Friday to four life sentences to be served on top of 45 years for his involvement in a homegrown terrorist plot involving six Raleigh-area Muslims.

His brother Shkumbin Sherifi , plead guilty in late 2012, to plotting to behead a witness in his brother's case.

Friday he was sentenced to 36 month for conspiracy to commit murder for hire in U.S. District Court in Raleigh.
