RALEIGH, NC (AP) — The media relations office for North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory is again undergoing some changes.

McCrory’s office says Press Secretary Crystal Feldman has joined the Department of Public Safety, where a spokeswoman said she started working Tuesday as deputy communications director.

Feldman’s departure means the top three people in the press office have all moved on since McCrory took office in January. Communications Director Chris Walker left state government in February, while deputy director Ricky Diaz is now communications chief for the Department of Health and Human Services.

McCrory’s press office also has decided to no longer alert the media when the governor has nothing on his public schedule for the following day. Communications Director Kim Genardo calls it a procedural and time-saving change.
