WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Some top-notch comedians will bring their best humor to several Wilmington stages over the next few weeks.

Nutt Street Comedy Club is hosting live stand-up performances downtown, beginning Friday night, giving you a chance to get in a good laugh throughout the summer months.

Kicking off the weekend line-up for live performances that go on through August, see Michael Che, who has been a guest on Comedy Central and ‘The Late Show with David Letterman,’ on Friday and Saturday nights.

Then on Sunday, check out comedian Kyle Kinane, who has also appeared on Comedy Central, and joined Conan O’Brian as a featured guest on the popular late night show.

The shows are going on Friday and Saturday at Nutt Street Comedy Room, and on Sunday at City Stage, with all shows beginning at 8 p.m., with a later show on Saturday at 9:30 p.m.

Timmy Sherrill, owner of the Nutt Street Comedy Room, stopped by Good Morning Carolina to let us know what to expect.
