FREE TICKETS to see Academy Award-winning ‘Undefeated’ TONIGHT

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — "Undefeated," winner of the 2011 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, is coming to Wilmington for one showing only.

Presented by the Wilmington Police Department, Cape Fear Community College and WWAY NewsChannel 3, the film shows viewers the struggles of the Manassas Tigers of Memphis, as they attempt a winning season after years of losing.

Coach Bill Courtney helps turn high school team around and helps turn a group of young men into an academic and athletic team.

The screening will be Thursday, June 20 at the CFCC Schwartz Center at 6 p.m.

SWING BY THE TELEVISION STATION (LOCATED AT 615 NORTH FRONT STREET) BETWEEN 9 A.M. AND 4 P.M. TO PICK UP YOUR FREE TICKETS.
