WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) -- The Wrightsville Beach house that traveled up the Intracoastal Waterway yesterday by barge finished its journey by truck today.

The NC Coastal Federation has been working on this project for a year. It will soon be able to call the Palmgren-O'Quinn house home.

The home originally sat on South Channel Drive. It now sits in the town's historic square on Harbor Island.

So glad our family home has

So glad our family home has a resting place. My grandparents would love the beach house will be preserved and used for education!
