  1. this is a joke

This place is a joke. Already numerous police visits, anyone remember that standoff? The houses are on top of each other with no parking spaces. Just plain trash living there with the exception of a few. Then a law abiding, single working parent such as myself applies to get on the program and gets a letter in the mail saying I don’t make enough money to qualify, making 11 dollars an hour in Wilmington, the city of no pay! I know people who live out there who don’t work at all so how did they qualify? What happened to the fair housing act? Obviously, it is only fair to some. If you are trying to do good for yourself and work hard to provide for yourself and your children, you don’t qualify. Maybe if I quit my job, let Dss take my children, drink and party every weekend they will feel sorry for me and give me a hand up…or hand out!

So if it is as bad as you say why would you want to live there.I may be wrong but the news said affordable housing, first time home owners.Don’t these families have to pay a mortage?
