Hit And Run

What is up with all the triadic deaths involving hit and run accidents?
These are people leaving someone else to suffer and possible die without aid. You are responsible for the accident, yet instead of running with no where to hide, did it accrue to you to try and help the other person. Then maybe you could also be responsible fir helping to save there life. There should only be "hit and run" in baseball.
