WASHINGTON, DC (WWAY) — Sen. Kay Hagan says if American defense workers have to be furloughed, German workers for the Department of Defense should not get a raise.

Hagan sent a letter to Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel with her concerns.

As American civilian defense employees start furloughs next week, civilian workers at US bases in Germany are getting a union-negotiated pay increase.

Hagan has asked Hagel to suspend the increase.

Pathetic. Hagan going after German workers while illegals are stealing jobs away from Americans right here. She is trying to divert attention away from her support of the rewards program for immigration law breakers.
