Pedestrian struck on College Road

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- A pedestrian was struck by a car on College Road at New Centre Drive Wednesday night around 10PM.

County dispatch has confirmed that one person was transported to Cape Fear hospital with a cut on their arm.

No word on any charges at this time. WWAY has a crew on the scene.

seriously one of the most unsafe intersections in wilmington. i swear every car acts like they don't know how to drive once they get to that intersection. poor guy, i mean i don't think anyone should be walking through there but it's still the driver's fault

I was the one who called 911 and not only did he have a cut up arm but also was bleeding a lot from a gash in his head as well as unresponsive.
