LONDON (AP) - Royal officials say Britain's new prince has been named George Alexander Louis.

Palace officials said Wednesday that the 2-day-old baby and third-in-line to the throne will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.

Earlier in the day, the baby met his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

His parents - Prince William and Kate - then brought him to Kate's parents in their village near London - pretty much like any regular family.

If the kid turns out to be gay...that'll solve the King/Queen issue for a while :-)

Great! I can sleep easy tonight, knowing that this matter is settled.

Whats his last name?

Prince George Alexander Louis "Mountbatten-Windsor"

Honest - thats the last name.
Poor kid will spend more time writing his name on his school papers then anything else.

Darn! They never seem to listen to any of my suggestions.

FYI: He won't be "signing" his name. He'll just use his royal stamp.

Great name....Boy George!!
