50+ Coastal Lifestyles EXPO this Friday

WILMINGTON, NC(NEWS RELEASE) -- The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association (WCFHBA) and Better Living Magazine will host the first-ever 50+ Coastal Lifestyles EXPO on Friday, August 2nd at the Wilmington Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the EXPO is free and open to the general public.

Celebrating life after 50, the 50+ Coastal Lifestyles EXPO is the area’s first ever expo catering to the 50+, caregiver, soon-to-retire, retired and senior demographic. The day-long EXPO will feature over 40 exhibits and free seminars, fitness demos, health screenings, giveaways and more running throughout the day.

Plan to take advantage of free seminars including financial planning, travel information, RV lifestyles, gardening and fitness demos such as pilates and zumba. Also plan to take advantage of free health screenings such as hearing, blood pressure, body fat, varicose veins and more. I guess whoever scheduled

I guess whoever scheduled this EXPO didn't want people over 50 who still work for a living to attend. Why not have some weekend or evening hours too?

Agreed KathyR. This Expo looks to be very thought out and beneficial for us to attend, but alas, a lot of us over 50 are still pulling 40-50 hour weeks. I wonder what our bosses would say if we asked for the day off so we could attend. Ha!

By the time those 50+ year olds get out of the parking deck they'll be old enough for Social Security !!!

By the way - where's the hotel developer? I thought the 90 day extension has run out? Are we still awaiting funding?
