WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Miracle League of Wilmington opens Braxx Stadium and the Kiwanis Miracle Playground Saturday.

The facility is designed for the many children and young adults with disabilities who cannot participate in organized team sports such as baseball due to a lack of accessible and safe facilities.

The Wilmington Believes in Miracles campaign took six years to complete this project.
