Carolina Beach close to naming new manager

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) -- The Carolina Beach town council has been unsettled since last November when Mayor Ray Rothrock, Councilman Lonnie Lashley and Town Manager Tim Owens suddenly resigned.

With all board positions filled, there is still a search for a permanent town manager, Ed Parvin is on his second tour of duty as temporary manager. Bruce Shell served for about six months as Interim Town

"We're hoping to find somebody in the next 30 days. We have a couple of really strong candidates that we have had in the queue for a while and they stuck with us. And we're going to review those and maybe have a second interview and make a selection.” Mayor Bob Lewis told WWAY.

Please read the last sentence of the article and then ask yourself, "how does Bob Lewis know they will make a selection?" Have they already voted again for the selection of a Town Manager? Will he sign the contract before a Public Vote as he did with Susi Hamilton? Maybe not, hopefully he learned something!

"And we're going to review those and maybe have a second interview and make a selection.” Mayor Bob Lewis told WWAY."

You have to read all the words.

Bob knows ..... How do you know that I know Bob knows? ..... I know that Bob knows because Bob says he knows; that's how I know.

Bob also "knew" that Susi wouldn't take the job even before he said she had the job..... Bob knew that because Bob knows .....

Irrefutable logic.

(The only other logical explanation is that Bob consults his crystal balls)
