Pedestrian hit by car in Carolina Beach

CAROLINA BEACH, NC, (WWAY) — A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Carolina Beach a little before 10 p.m.

Our crew on the scene says the accident happened at the intersection of Charlotte Avenue and South Lake Boulevard.

It was only a matter of time before an event like this occurred. Tourists are not wearing reflective clothing when bicycling at night; they are also skateboarding down the middle of streets and generally making poor decisions.

This news post need to get updated because you guys facts are wrong and that’s a fact. The pedestrian was on a bike and was drunk. Wasn’t looking to see if traffic was coming just rode out into the street not checking to see if traffic was coming and rode in my lane by the time I saw him it was over and he got hit. Read the police report then post your story. But the real story.
