WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — With the school year about to start teachers need a lot of papers to be copied.

Budget cuts often limit the number of prints they can make at school. So the Mail Room in Long Leaf Mall is stepping up to the plate by helping teachers with free copies.

Today teachers could get 200 freebies to get their year started.

“It’s outstanding,” teacher Shenicka Williams said. “It’s a very big help. You’ll be amazed how many copies a teacher will go through in a year’s time. To have this support is amazing. It’s very generous of the Mail Room. We’re very grateful.”

Every Friday during the school year New Hanover County teachers can stop by and get 100 free copies.

The Mail Room is open until 6 p.m.

This is such a NICE thing!!!! Even though I am not a teacher, THANK YOU! This is a huge help to teacher I am sure, and will help them easily adapt to the new year. TRUE example of a business giving back to the community in the special way they can. Things like this say much more than writing a donation check.
