HIGH POINT, NC (AP) — Police have found a 17-month-old girl who was sleeping in a vehicle that was reported stolen at a grocery store parking lot.

North Carolina officials cancelled an Amber Alert late Friday morning for Shylin Olandea Neal. They said the girl has been found safe but did not immediately provide details.

The High Point Enterprise reported she had been found safe in the sports utility vehicle in Greensboro. There was no immediate word on any arrests.

They say she was in an SUV that was stolen shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday.

The girl’s grandmother told WGHP-TV the keys were in the vehicle.

Nope- not buying it!!!! who leaves a baby, in an unlocked vehicle, with the keys inside, in a grocery store parking lot, at 10pm? I make my 15 niece lock the doors, if she stays in the car in the day time while I run in.
Nope, not buying it, this story sounds like it is going to have a sad ending.

Poor Beautiful Baby!!!!

Was this child left unattended and asleep in a vehicle? If so, then arrest the driver.

“According to WXII, Shylin’s godfather left her and the keys in his 2003 white Chevrolet Suburban when he went to Food Lion for a few minutes. When he returned to the parking lot he noticed the vehicle was gone.”

This guy needs to be in jail.
