WILMINGTON, NC (NEWS RELEASE) — Garry Orlando Hines of Wilmington is behind bars again this afternoon and charged with eleven counts of selling and delivering heroin.

The 20-year-old was arrested after a month long investigation by the Wilmington Police Departments’ Vice Narcotics Unit. He is in the New Hanover County Jail under a $1 million bond.

Police arrested Hines this morning when he showed up for court on other drug charges. You may remember Hines was arrested in September of 2011 for the murder of 23-year-old Cornelius Blanks.

Hines was out on bond for that murder charge.

Maybe Garry, and Rashawn Hines, can get a room together, at Burgaw, while they do their 18 month deal.

Am I missing something here? I thought a charge of murder came with no bond unless you are wealthy. This guy doesn’t look like he makes much more than a couple hundred thousand a year.

He was arrested 2 years ago for murder and is now on the streets as a drug dealer? Maybe there needs to be more to this story or we need a better judicial system than the one who let him out on the street.

What are the judges doing?
