Leland Pizza Hut robbed at gunpoint

LELAND, NC (WWAY) -- Leland Police are looking for a man they say robbed a restaurant at gunpoint.

Early this morning police responded to an armed robbery at the Pizza Hut at 112 Village Road. The night manager said a tall, black male, slender, wearing a blue bandana and blue jeans put a revolver to her neck as she was leaving the store. The suspect forced the night manager at gunpoint back into the store and demanded access to the safe. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is still at large.
