Brunswick County detectives looking for two suspects in attempted robbery

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC, (WWAY) — Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are asking for help in identifying two suspects in an attempted robbery.

At approximately 9:00 P.M Thursday night, a woman was trying to get into her car at Civietown Road and Holden Beach Road in Supply when she was approached by two males from behind. The victim described the two as black males wearing jeans and black hoodies. One wore a black bandana with a white design and a gold ring with circular diamonds on his left hand. One of the suspects also had an accent.

The suspects attempted to grab the victim’s keys but were unsuccessful. The victim was then struck in the back of the head twice with an unknown object.

The subjects then fled on bikes towards the Mt. Pisgah Road and Holden Beach Road intersection.
