Andy, always the wise counselor looks back and offers advice.

“It’s been a challenge especially in the last few years, progress brings on problems, as always. Canoutas said”

Andy Canoutas has been the Town Attorney for Kure Beach for 50 years, but he didn’t start there. He started on the beach.

“I think my favorite would probably be my life guarding days. I love the fringe benefits, the young ladies on the beach.” Canoutas said with a laugh.

Prior to becoming Town Attorney, Andy served as life guard, police office and volunteer fireman. He is a man who served his community.

“This is my home, this is where I was raised .” Canoutas summarized.
