Deputies searching for two suspects involved in assault and robbery


BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC, (WWAY) -- Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are looking for two suspects who robbed and assaulted a man early Saturday morning.

The victim met the two, who are described a white male and a white female, at Jay’s Bar and Restaurant in Little River. They were seen leaving the bar around 2:46 a.m. The victim recalls leaving the bar with the two and going to his residence on Bay Tree Drive in Little River.

The three then left the residence in the suspect’s vehicle around 3:00 a.m. Somewhere between 3:00 a.m and 6:00 a.m, the victim was pulled from the vehicle in the Project Road area in Ash, beaten and robbed of all his belongings, including his clothes.

The male suspect is described as a white male, slim to average build, mid-twenties with short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a hat with a white front and dark blue or back, with Word Mark logo on the bill, a blue shirt and jeans.

The female is described as a white female, average to heavy set, also early to mid-twenties, with shoulder length wavy black or dark brown hair, wearing a blue jean skirt, black top, and red high heels. She also may have had a tattoo on her shoulder.
