WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Two men were arrested on drug charges after tips from residents in the area.

Wilmington police arrested the men after a two week investigation. 32-year-old Shawnee Otto Jennings, who goes by the street name “Frank White”, and 36-year-old Michael Deray Davis are facing numerous drug charges.

Jennings is charged with possession with Intent to Sell Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, and Drug Trafficking.

Davis is charged with Possession with Intent to sell Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

“These arrests show that residents are tired of crime in their neighborhoods,” says Chief Ralph Evangelous of the Wilmington Police Department. ” We applaud their efforts and encourage residents to keep calling in crime tips. When we work together we can make our neighborhoods safer.”

The mug shots are from previous arrests.
