I am a cyclist. I do follow the laws. I wish more drivers would be more considerate of my safety and pass when safe not just because I am in front of them. If you will excuse the pun,”It is a two way street.” Just the tone of most cyclist new stories are biased towards the cyclist being in the wrong. Cyclist Hits Car. So already you are leaning towards the cyclist being the wrong one. Just like Cyclist Hurt By Two Ton Vehicle would spin it the other way.

Isn’t Dawson one-way to the East? So he was biking the wrong way on Dawson? Coming from a direction no one on 17th would expect?

Many on bicycles don’t believe traffic laws apply to them.
