Police find blood nearby after more shots fired in Creekwood overnight

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Wilmington police are investigating after getting more reports of shots fired overnight in the Creekwood community.

Lieutenant Blanton says police were called to the area just before midnight, where he says they found blood near where the shots were fired.

This comes after several shootings in the same area over the weekend, just days following a 90-day cease fire initiative that ended Friday.

Lt. Blanton says police did arrest someone, but he did not have any information on whether the arrest was related to that crime. He says there were no reports of injuries.

Why dont they do a roundup like they did in brunswick county? They got warrents for over 100 people based on drungs, wepons and other crimes. They removed them and sent them away to the big house, not just local jail. One guy was picked up for child support and they found gungs and drugs a few years back. He got put away for 15 years. Why cant wilmington do that.

It is time

I think it is time to get all the gangs together in Legion Field - no weapons but their hands - let them just beat each other till they are done and then arrest any standing, and ship their sorry thug butts off to another country.

This is seriously becoming comical

Maybe Obama can arm the rebels?

Like in Syria? Except the rebels in this case would be the law abiding, and he wants to disarm them here, while giving the Muslim Brotherhood tons of guns over confusing keeping leftist allegiances straight....
