BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC, (WWAY) — Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two suspects accused of felony larceny after they say the two stole thousands worth of metal.

Ryan Tyler Duffy, 21, of Leland, was arrested yesterday for taking $3,600 worth of metal from Devere Construction, a company based out of Raleigh. The company has a construction site in the Industrial Park area in Leland.

Hunter Louis Preset, 19, of Wilmington, who was wanted on the same charges, was arrested last night, according to deputies.

Duffy was booked in the Brunswick County Jail, and was later released under a $10,000 bond. Present was also booked later last night, and was then released under a $5,000 bond.
