BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County Schools is offering free training classes in a search to find candidates to drive its future, according to a news release. 
 
Spokeswoman Jessica Swencki says the school system is looking for "highly motivated individuals to take the first step in joining the transportation division by attending a free bus driver training class." 
 
In the release, Swencki says the 3-day class will be held at Bolivia Elementary School from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. this Thursday through next Monday. 
 
"The starting salary for drivers with no prior experience is $11.93 per hour," according to the release. Click here for more information about the opportunity and training registration.
