CHARLOTTE, NC (AP) -- Two teens have been arrested in the shooting and wounding of an off-duty Charlotte police officer.

Nineteen-year-old Kevin Watson McClary has been charged with two counts of armed robbery, attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, first-degree burglary and possession of a gun by a convicted felon.

A 17-year-old has been charged as an accessory.

Police say more charges are expected.

Police say someone broke into the apartment of Officer Jon Durham around 6 a.m. Sunday.

Dunham was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. He was listed in stable condition Monday.

The officer's son was in the apartment at the time and was not hurt.

Dunham has been with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department since 2008.
