Easy Individual Apple Crisp

Start to finish: 5 minute prep, 30 minutes bake

Serves 1

1 sweet apple such as Gala, peeled and thinly sliced

1 teaspoon butter, or more to taste

Pinch apple pie spice

2 tablespoons prepared granola

Ice cream, optional for serving

Chocolate sauce, optional for serving

Preheat oven (or toaster oven) to 350 degrees F.

Place the apple in a ramekin or other small oven-proof dish. Top with pat of butter, spice blend and granola. Bake 20 minutes for crisp tender apples and 30 minutes for soft apples. Serve warm over ice cream with chocolate sauce if desired.
