Fayetteville police say man's body found in van

READ MORE:

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Police in Fayetteville say a man was found dead inside a van adjacent to a gas station.

The Fayetteville Observer reports (http://bit.ly/1dO4DTW) that the man's body was found slumped in a battered Chevrolet van outside the gas station Wednesday morning. Police said the death did not appear to be suspicious, but that an autopsy will be performed.

The van was parked in front of the station's compressed air dispenser. A customer said he was about to put air in his tires when he found the man unresponsive and told employees to call 911.

Police said the van had been parked in the same spot for several hours.
