RALEIGH, NC, (WWAY) — The North Carolina Department of Transportation is apologizing for a series of inappropriate traffic alert messages.

The six messages went out over NCDOT’s Traveler Information Management System, also known as ‘TIMS.’ NCDOT says a contractor was performing routine tests, and failed to turn off the external feed.

The alerts warned drivers to “Stay home because of women drivers, rain, and Obamacare”.

The contractor was let go immediately.

    Seems legit to me.

..and quite humerous at that (not to mention truthful)! Definitely not a reason to cost a person their job. You simplistic NCDOT quagmires outa get a chuckle, issue a minor reprimand an let the man get back to his job! Obviously, his test worked properly, more than you can say for the rest of the DOT antics and exercises.

Everybody snuggling up that inviably stupid PC crap that was developed by Bill Clinton who didn’t understand the meaning of the word “sex”. Now, everybody is supposed to walk around with a long, barbed stick buried up thier @$$. So…howz that for PC, huh?

Don’t know why he was let go. Most just got a chuckle. Guess society is just too uptight these days. But, when you think of it, there is a lot of truth to the message……..

At least they weren’t terminated for lying!!

Every woman driver, every rain drop that has fallen…or destined to fall, Prez Obama himself, should file a lawsuit under the “DOT Highway Emergency Information Signs to Help Drivers Not Crash Even If Using Cell Phones Act and Other Junk…Act”!!!!
    That’ll learn them :-)
