WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office says a two-week investigation led them to raid the apartment of an alleged drug dealer near UNCW Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators say they found several guns, heroin and marijuana in Kenneth Jermain Greene’s home at Seahawk Square Apartments.

Greene, 28, is charged with three counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, failure to secure a firearm to protect a minor and several drug crimes. The Sheriff’s Office says Greene will also be charged for violating the terms of his probation for possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute schedule II and DWI. Records show Greene’s criminal history also includes convictions for larceny.

Greene is in the New Hanover County Jail under $150,000 secured bond.
