WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A pair of Wilmington schools are among the leaders in a nationwide vote to award 20 schools a share of a $500,000 prize.

U.S. Cellular says Williston Middle School and Sunset Park Elementary School are in the top 25 for the company’s Calling All Communities campaign. Voting for the contest started Nov. 4.

The top 20 schools in the final vote will each get $25,000 to use as they wish to enhance their educational experience.

U.S. Cellular says Calling All Communities is open to all K-12 schools in the U.S. Cellular footprint. Voting ends Nov. 25. Click here to vote for your favorite school.

U S Cellular needs to concentrate on their billing problems instead of trying to run contests and campaigns.
