DUPLIN COUNTY, NC (WCTI) -- Two people were seeking treatment for burns after a suspected meth lab explosion in Duplin County, investigators said.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the explosion happened on Narcie Turner Lane southwest of Pink Hill Sunday night. Investigators said they believed it was a meth lab explosion. But when deputies arrived at the scene, they did not find meth precursors. Investigators said it was unclear whether the precursors were destroyed in the explosion or taken from the scene.
A witness said the explosion happened in a red shed. Another witness said the explosion shook her home.
