WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Portions of Pine Grove Dr. in Wilmington were closed this afternoon after a man drove his truck into Hewlett’s Creek.

Raymond Bradshaw, 43, said he was driving home from work when he started feeling dizzy and rolled down his windows. He said the next thing he knew he woke up and his truck was sinking into the creek.

He got out without any injuries. Crews were able to get the truck out of the water as well.

Investigators say Bradshaw will not be ticketed at this time.
