WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It was tea time at the Historic Hannah Block Community Arts Center today to benefit a good cause.

From dancing, to a silent auction, a fashion show, and of course plenty of tea; this “Tea for Two” fundraiser founded by Century 21 Brock & Associates was a fun way to support a good cause.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the localized programs and services of Easter Seals UCP, specifically the child placement program.

The non-profit organization provides support to children and adults with disabilities and mental health challenges.

Organizer and co-founder of Century 21 Brock & Associates, Faye Brock, says Easter Seals UCP touches her heart because it helps all handicapped people from infants to adults.

“Just give with your heart and you’ll end up getting more than you give; you receive a whole lot more,” Brock said. “Trust me, I know.”

Organizers say their goal was to raise three to five thousand dollars.
