Deputies search for three suspects wanted on heroin related charges

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC, (WWAY) -- The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office Vice-Narcotics Task Force are looking for three people wanted for heroin related charges.

Saquan Michael Jones, 30, of Supply, is wanted for PWIMSD heroin, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place, and possession of drug paraphernalia. 76 bindles of heroin were found in the home of Jones Thursday evening during a search warrant by the task force.

Joshua Aenes Rodriguez, 35, of Little River, SC is wanted for trafficking opium or heroin. Ross Edmund McGillicuddy, 38, also of Little River, SC is wanted for conspiracy to traffic opium or heroin. Rodriguez and McGillicuddy were both arrested on Nov. 19 for additional heroin related charges. Agents found an additional 211 bindles of heroin in an impounded vehicle seized during that arrest.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Jones, Rodriguez or McGillicuddy is asked to contact the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office at 910-253-2777.

If the contraband was found after the vehicle was seized and impounded, it might be tough to prove it belonged to the defendents. Cops sometimes go to great lengths to "build" a case.
