NC Christmas Festival & Parade this weekend in Leland


LELAND, NC (WWAY) -- The Unity Group of North Brunswick presents the 22nd Annual NC Christmas Festival and Parade with a tree lighting and Dance in the Park event Friday night, followed by a parade Saturday morning.

The fun begins toight at Leland Town Hall Park off of Town Hall Drive at 5:30 p.m. And tomorrow's parade begins at 10 a.m.

Village Road from Sturgeon Creek Bridge to Food Lion Shopping Center will close at 9 a.m. There will be free shuttle service, music, entertainment and, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus.

It is so refreshing to see

It is so refreshing to see that Leland has enough respect for Christmas to use the word instead of holiday. So happy they are not intimidated by a few and changed the name.
