Hopefuls line up for their shot to be America's Next Top Model

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- Lines were out the door at the Cape Fear CW’s America’s Next Top Model open casting call.

Hopefuls had a chance to "wow" the judges with their stunning looks, big personalities, and of course their best runway walks.

UNCW student Mackenzie Russell says she has watched the show since she was a little girl, and when she heard about the audition, she said she had to take her shot at being America's Next Top Model.

It's just something that's always been kind of fun. And people always say, 'if you're tall you either play volleyball, basketball, or you model.’ So, I can't do any of the other two, so I might as well try this."

Mackenzie says her audition went well, but she says it was a little hard to walk in such a small space.

She did however take the time to show us her winning walk, and her best top model pose.
