WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Peter Mayer has been the lead guitarist for Jimmy Buffett for more than 20 years, but he’s working Wilmington into his busy schedule to help victims of Human Trafficking.

Poodle Lockhart stopped by the GMC studio to let everyone know that COR will get proceeds directly from ticket sales for Saturday’s concert. The concert begins at 7 p.m. Inside First Baptist Church, 411 Market Street, in Wilmington.

Tickets are available at Poodle’s Island Wear on Water Street or by calling (910)763-4523. People can also purchase tickets at www.poodleislandwear.com or at the door the night of the concert.

For those who can’t make it out to see Mayer, there is still a way to show support for COR by bidding in an online auction. Peter Mayer clothing and memorabilia from his tours with Jimmy Buffett will be available for auction, as well as products from local vendors: www.32auctions.com/pmg

A “Buffett concert” at a church?? Sounds like a big bore to me

It’s not a Buffett concert rather a very talent musician & song writer who Loves to share his God given talent with the World. If you’ve never experienced one of Peter Mayer’s Stars & Promises Concerts, you are clueless & no right to judge!

Peter Mayer is here to do what he does even better than his being Jimmy’s lead guitar player. Peter is here to share his love for this season and it’s representation of Jesus. Anyone who really knows Peter knows this.

In Petes own words:” you are what you are, you dream what you dream, play on your blue guitar for me.”
A beautiful song written by the peter mayer group.
Their shows are fun, performed by top musicians serious with intent to WOW their audiences and the talent to back them selves up delivering it to you.
