Power out in Chapel Hill after crash

CHAPEL HILL, NC (AP) -- Some Chapel Hill residents and businesses lost electricity over the weekend when an automobile accident knocked down power lines.

Early Sunday, officers responded to a crash where a vehicle had hit several utility poles.

Police say the driver wasn't hurt and was arrested for driving while impaired. The driver's name hasn't been released.

Authorities say all power was restored at around 8:20 p.m. Sunday. Some other services including phone, cable and Internet were also disrupted.

Officers are still investigating the crash.
