WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) - Basketball scores from our region are listed below from Friday night. In many cases we had video of these games on WWAY's Full Court Press. Click the play video icon to see WWAY's Full Court Press with John Rendleman & Chasity Melvin.

The Vikings honored senior Trevor Singleton before Friday's game against West Brunswick. Unfortunately Singleton will undergo surgery on Monday for a stress fracture in his left leg. He tells WWAY that he hurt the leg playing football and he's been playing hurt all basketball season. Opimistically, Singleton may be able to return to action in time for the state playoffs. Click the play video icon to see Friday's ceremony along with game action throughout the region.

We went regional with our play of the week. It was a shattering experience for one player!
