WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- It was a day of dancing and frolicking for people of all ages at the Wilmington Arts Center. The Wilmington School of Ballet along with Cape Fear Dance Theatre hosted a free day of dance.
One dancer says she has been taking ballet since she was three, and thinks this is a great opportunity for those who may not be able to afford dance lessons.
"Everybody wants to dance,” Cayman Sanie explained. “So, programs like this really are a wonderful opportunity, and I'm so thankful they set this up for everyone."
Some kids say their favorite part of the day was playing with the purple pom-poms and getting to dance the day away in their tutus.
