BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A man accused of rape, kidnapping, and assault was out on bond when investigators say he again committed those crimes and more.

He got out of jail when a judge decreased his bond from $1 million to $50,000 plus GPS monitoring.

Richard Teremaine Gore is back in jail. This time under a $4 million bond

Records show Gore damaged the straps for his GPS tracking device Monday. Investigators say he kidnapped a woman from a home in Little River, SC, either Sunday night or Monday morning by gunpoint and raped and assaulted her at his home in Ash. According to warrants it’s the same woman Gore allegedly kidnapped and rape earlier this year.

Warrants show deputies responded to Gore’s home on Marlow Road Monday for reports of a kidnapping. They say Gore tried to get away in his Jeep by speeding down Etheridge Road and Ash-Little River Road. Investigators say at some point Gore hit a deputy’s car causing more than $1,000 in damage.

This all comes after Judge Sherry Prince reduced Gore’s bond in October from $1 million to $50,000 with a tracking device. He left jail three days later. Now he faces charges of rape, kidnapping, assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon on a government among many others.

We tried to reach Judge Prince to ask her about her decision to reduce Gore’s bond. She has not returned our messages.

What was the judge thinking – oh yeah, she wasn’t. Now look what he has done again!!!!!!!!!!!! Come on judge – explain your reasoning. Maybe this time you can take him home with you and watch over him until court time!

He is just another one of my soldiers on the War on Women! Glad we got the judge to go lightly on this guy! FREEDOM!!!

Should make a law to hold judges accountable for allowing these thugs to return to society. Sure hope the current judge has the ability to make better judgement. I mean, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that he doesn’t belong on the streets.

I certainly hope that the lawyer who fought so hard to get this animal’s bond reduced is proud of himself.

The next WWAY story will be about how the Judges’ Benevolent Society or the Judges’ Union or the Judges’ Investigatory Board finds no wrongdoing by the judge (surprise!), and WWAY will drop the matter. Forget about the victim’s agony, forget about the judge’s stupidity, forget about Gore’s sociopathic behavior.

And people say our police officers are bad? No wonder they might be tempted when things like this happen. (Not to say they are.) So what now; he gets a 2 Million dollar bond and reduced to “oh just go outside until your court date”?

I wonder where the District Attorney stood on this matter. If he didn’t oppose the reduction, then he is just as much to blame as the judge. What I don’t understand is how an idiot like Sherry Prince got to be a judge in the first place.

On Fri, 04/24/2009 – 6:29pm, WWAY posted that her name used to be Sherry “Prince” and now (at that time) it’s Sherry “Tyler”. Has she changed it back to “Prince” again or what?

That woman is incapable of reasoning.

She is listed on the website for the Adminstrative Office of the Courts as Sherry D. Prince. She is listed on the directory for the NC Bar as Sherry Dew Prince.
