BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The South Brunswick Cougars could soon have a new football coach.

The school’s administration has recommended Daniel Finn for the job. He would also fill a vacant physical education teaching position. Finn needs approval from the school board before the hiring is official. a

Finn was the head football coach at Southeast Raleigh for five years before taking over as athletic director in 2011. Before that he was head coach for football and boy’s track at D.H. Conley for two years.

Finn also worked as an assistant at J.H. Rose, D.H. Conley and East Carolina University.
