WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Wilmington Police are looking for a man who they say robbed the State Employees Credit Union on Racine Drive this morning.

Just before 10 a.m. investigators say the man gave the teller a note that said he had a gun.

Police say he never actually displayed a weapon, but the teller handed over the cash he demanded. That's when they say he took off running towards the New Hanover County Government Center.

WPD is combing the scene with K9 units. The bank has released surveillance photos of the man, who they say was wearing a blue knit cap, dark gray or black sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Police say the suspect is in his early 50s, and is between 180 and 200 pounds. Police are still investigating and ask anyone with information call WPD at (910)343-3609 or text Tip708.

You are sick. Don't they use dye packs any more? That could be your money, unless you don't have any. Then of course you wouldn't care.

Yours is quite possibly the most stupid comment I've ever encountered.
