Wilmington Wine and Chocolate Festival winners announced

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The Best in Show winners have been announced for the 10th annual Wilmington Wine and Chocolate Festival.

Flint Hill won Best in Show in the Varietals division. Vineyards on the Scuppernong won the Muscadine division. Black Mountain won Best in Show for Chocolate.

Gayle Ginsberg, founder of the festival, said the event keeps getting bigger and bigger.

"It's unbelievable. When I envisioned this after the first one, I had no idea it would blossom into this," Ginsberg said. "I am so proud of the coordinators. They are phenomenal."

The festival benefits the New Hanover County Senior Resource Center.

$20 tickets.

I went as a regular ticket holder and thought The Little Dipper did a fantastic job. It's too bad they didn't win any recognition. They went all out for the attendees.
