WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Juliette Lewis is joining the cast of ABC’s “Secrets & Lies,” which is slated to start shooting its pilot in Wilmington this month.

Lewis will play a detective in the show based on an upcoming Australian series. The show is about a family man (Ryan Phillippe) who becomes the prime suspect in a murder after finding a young boy’s body. Natalie Martinez, who has starred in Wilmington-shot “Under the Dome” on CBS, will play the boy’s mother.

Lewis confirmed the news on Twitter last night.

Lewis most recently co-starred in “The Firm” on NBC. She has starred in such movies as “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” and “Natural Born Killers.”
