WRIGHTVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The winner of the Fire on the Dock Competition Dining series is Antione Murray.
The seven week competition put local chefs against one another in a win or go home format.
Murray, Chef of Cape Fear Country Club, beat out 1900 Restaurant and Lounge’s Chef Kirsten Mitchell by less than 2 points.
More than a hundred people took part in the six course meal hosted by Bluewater Waterfront Grill in Wrightsville Beach.
“We’re headed to Asheville, Greensboro, Charlotte, and Raleigh,” said Competition Dining host Jimmy Crippen. “Finals are in November, the third week in November, tickets at competitiondining.com”, he said.
