WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Two all-star teams will hit the hardwood tonight at Trask Coliseum in hopes of taking home a big trophy, all thanks to Wilmington's Police Athletic League.
The 4th Annual Crosstown Championship action features two-time champion Community PAL, who will take on reigning champion Brigade PAL.
The league, PAL, is Wilmington Police Department's community initiative that uses basketball as a tool to promote gang resistance and awareness with area at-risk youth.
The league says this all-star event is a way to reward players for their effort on and off the court. The game kicks off with tip off at 5 p.m. The game is free of charge.
